Spiders, death, mold. Combined it’s really pretty, like a little hidden snowflake hidden away in a deep, dark place. It was also very hard getting a decent photo, even with the ring flash, because it really was pitch dark, in the basement of this towering, ancient stone building. With the lights off you could practically feel it’s weight pressing down above you. The spider was tiny and frail and swayed from it’s old webbing when we introduced our body heat to the cold space. Mold sprouting from each joint and it’s body, likely filling it’s entire exoskeleton.
